High Rise Apartments - Elevator access

Most building managers require that you book the lift when moving in or out of a high rise apartment building. Please check your lift booking before locking in your move date.

Some high rise apartment blocks in and around the CBD have height restrictions for removals trucks. This height restriction is usually 2.1 metres high . All furniture removals trucks are higher than this height. We provide a solution to this by having Flat Bed trolleys or one tonne delivery vans to ferry furniture and effects to and from the lift entrance and the truck.

Apartment buildings in Melbourne CBD, Docklands, South Bank and South Melbourne usually require a current Public Liability Certificate from Removals Company.
